Kiteboarding expeditions

We missed writing last months newsletter because...well we were having too much fun. Actually Jody and I have also been quite slammed, but it's all still in good fun and that's what this journey is all about. We've just wrapped our third trip of the expedition. A 10 day blockbuster with pro riders Shannon Best and Clinton Bolton shooting a film in Antigua and Barbuda. We'll have the trailer out in early April. The footage is mindblowing- some of the best kiteboarding footage I've ever seen.

Before that we had an amazing 15 day Epic from Grenada to St. Lucia through the Grenadines and a 10 day wacky and wild journey from St. Lucia to Antigua via Martinique and Guadeloupe. We've traversed the majority of windward and leeward isles in the West Indies and have already experienced so many magical and fantastic moments, and been fortunate to have shared these moments with people who began as strangers and left as great friends.

These newsletters are meant to be a chronicle of our journey at sea, but as we are regularly posting stories and pictures on the website I will save time and your inbox by directing you to them rather than try to recap the last two months here. Visit "Heaven on Earth" to view just a taste of one of the finest kitesurfing spots I've ever seen, or for a little more titilation, read "Pole Dancing under the Lunar Eclipse" for the more sultry side of our travels. There are many others to enjoy and explore, reflections and glimpses into what it's like for us to live at sea, on our new home "Discovery".

We've got a few newsworthy items to point out. I'll be doing a live podcast with ASNews.net and the Kiteboarder magazine this Thursday, April 5th at 6 pm PST which can be listened to live (listeners can ask questions) or it autoplays later that evening on either ASNews.net or The Kiteboarder, or it can be downloaded from Kiteforum.tv. If you would like to get notified in advance of the podcast, go here.

Finally, and this may not be the case by the time this newsletter goes out, but we currently have a cabin available on trip #6 from St Barths to Antigua, trip #9 from Isla Margarita to Los Roques and trip #11 from Bonnaire to Aruba. Karen, at Ozone Travel is offering $500 towards flights if booked through her. Don't miss out- each of the trips on The Best Odyssey are once in a lifetime. They will never be repeated. As part of our "Try Before You Buy" offer, we'll apply the funds from any trip you purchase to our share ownership program for the remaining 4 years if you wish after the trip.

As Discovery is now decked out in her sponsors' logos and images and stories are being spread around the globe we've experienced an incredible surge in share sales. We now have only 2 Adventure shares remaining (one of our current owners bought three more after his first trip!) and Epics are quickly drying up as well. Once they are sold that's it. No more opportunities to join for the next 5 years across 4 oceans, dozens of seas, and the most remote and hard to reach areas in the world. Visit our forum to see what people have said about the first three trips.

Stay tuned for the film, stay tuned for more action; and stay tuned for more heaven, right here on earth.
