The Andamans belong to India. They are strictly controlled and thankfully highly protected from an environmental standpoint, and have been raved about as a cruising ground. Crystal clear water, beautiful backdrops, and by late December the NE Monsoon will be in full swing, driving strong trades over the area. If we're lucky we'll also pick up a bit of swell as they are reputed to get great waves.

Empty surf breaks, huge fish, all the lobster one could possibly eat, deserted islands, gorgeous beaches, healthy and varied coral, giant manta rays, fascinating indigenous tribes, friendly locals, delicious and cheap food, and a charming port of entry and departure - what more could a cruiser ask for?"

These are the paragon of beauty and present a landscape full with scenic and picturesque extravaganza. These islands shimmer like emeralds in the Bay of Bengal. The dense forest which cover these islands and the innumerable exotic flowers and birds create a highly poetic and romantic atmosphere. "Here the white beaches on the edge of a meandering coastline have palm trees that sway to the rhythm of the Sea. The beat of tribal drums haunt the stillness and technicolour fish steer their way through crystal clear water."
