The Bazaruto archipelago just looks stunning, so we're running this itinerary twice. Take a look at the photo below and let your imagination roam. It's about as close as you can get to a tropical paradise and because it's protected the area has escaped the ravages of war inland. Nature abounds- dolphins, dugongs, manta rays, dozens of species of birds including pink flamingos and fish eagles and a plethora of tropical fish as well as leatherback, loggerhead and green turtles. Can you see yourself kiting over those rivers of turquoise waters and sand fissures? I can.
If possible, take some time before and/or after this trip to explore inland Mozambique. Take your pick among the many national parks, reserves, paragliding on the dunes...the possibilities are endless.
