Tuamotus, Fakarava and Toau adventure II (cabin or complete boat)

We spent most of our time in Fakarava and Toau last year simply because we loved it there. Both are amazing atolls in their own right, with turquoise lagoon kitesurfing and wing-foiling locations and beautiful snorkeling. The North and South passes belong to one of world's best drift snorkels. The underwater world is very much alive here, with healthy coral, rays, sharks, turtles, and lots of reef fish; if you are looking for a place that defines our sport, look no further than these remote atolls in the Tuamotus. These trips are why we do the Cabrinha Quest. With all of our trips, our itinerary is very flexible and depends on your preferences and the conditions—so many options to play in the water and so much to see.

Fakarava is one of the largest circular reefs in the world and gets a few dozen tourists who come for the world-class diving. Toau is an even less-visited, much smaller jewel whose only real industry used to be black pearl farming: big air, big winds, big coconuts, big sharks, big fun. Imagine a 30-mile-long lagoon of silky water, clear and aquamarine in color, 25-knot winds, and you've just about got it. Of course, there's world-class reef diving.

The best time of the year in the Tuamotus for wind and weather is June - October. This is the dry season, and we have consistent trades.
